About Eric
Eric earned his degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University. That foundation in understanding how people move and use physical spaces informs his approach to building homes and athletic facilities that function well for the people who use them daily.
He met Jason Gelblum on a pickleball court, where a shared competitive streak revealed aligned standards for how work should be done: quality without shortcuts, direct communication, and accountability throughout every project phase. That meeting eventually led to the formation of Back Creek Builders.
Eric’s experiences directly influence the company’s sports court construction work. He has played on poorly built courts, slick surfaces, inadequate space behind the baselines, and lighting that creates glare rather than visibility. That firsthand experience shapes specifications and construction decisions on every court project Back Creek Builders undertakes. He remains personally involved, ensuring clients work with decision-makers from the first consultation through completion.
Baltimore Magazine has recognized the work Jason and Eric have accomplished together at Back Creek Builders.
