Design development then proceeds collaboratively, whether we’re working with your architect or developing plans together. Layouts evolve through iterations. Material selections take shape. Detailed proposals document exactly what’s included so there’s no ambiguity before construction begins. We handle permitting through Anne Arundel County and any other required review bodies, then coordinate pre-construction logistics so work proceeds efficiently once we break ground.

During construction, we maintain clear communication about progress, upcoming phases, and any discoveries requiring decisions. Quality verification happens continuously, not just at the final walkthrough. Projects conclude when you’re satisfied with the results.

Sport Court Construction

Court projects follow a similar philosophy with construction methods specific to athletic surfaces. We start by evaluating your site, including available space, orientation relative to sun angle, drainage patterns, and access for construction equipment. For facilities adding courts to existing programming, we discuss use intensity and any governing body specifications that apply.

The design process includes analyzing lighting projects and precise layout planning for court dimensions, fencing configurations, and accessory placement. Our proposals detail base preparation methods, surface system specifications, and all included elements.

Construction proceeds through several defined phases: site preparation, aggregate base installation, concrete or post-tensioned slab work, surface coating application, and accessory installation. Courts require specific cure times between phases, which we build into the scheduling. The final steps include aiming and adjusting lighting systems, verifying the playing surface quality, and demonstrating any control systems to complete the handoff.
